FACTSHEET: Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government, and Public Policy, Center for the Study of American Business

DETAILS

The Weidenbaum Center Campus Box 1027 Washington University St. Louis, MO 63130-4899
Phone: 314-935-5630
Fax: 314-935-5688

The Center was created by Murray Weidenbaum in 1975, as the Center for the Study of American Business. In 2001 it was re-named in Weidenbaum's honor.

From the mid-90s through 2000, the Center published the works of several noted climate change skeptics in its Policy Study series (links: http://wc.wustl.edu/csab/GCC.htm). Since 2000 and the re-naming of the center, it no longer seems to place an emphasis on refuting climate change science.

FUNDING

Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government, and Public Policy has received $285,000 from ExxonMobil since 1998.
