DEEDS

Haapala is a contributor to the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) reports. The reports are a joint project of SEPP and CEI. In June 2009, NIPCC submitted comments written by Haapala urging the EPA to withdraw its proposed endangerment findings on greenhouse gas emissions under the clean air act because, according to Haapala, it did not include the best available data. The EPA sourced information from the IPCC, who “reviews and assesses the most recent scientific, technical and socio-economic information produced worldwide relevant to the understanding of climate change.”
