FACTSHEET: Marlo Lewis Jr.
DETAILS
CEI Senior Fellow
Lewis is the former Director of External Relations for the Reason Foundation and has served as Staff Director of the House Government Reform Subcommitte on National Economic Growth, Natural Resources, and Regulatory Affairs for the 106th Congress.
He writes for several publications, including Tech Central Station, and researches global warming, energy policy, and other public policy issues for CEI.
He holds a Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University and a B.A. in Political Science from Claremont McKenna College.

Lewis and the group were active against such "rent-seeking" proposals in the 106th Congress by Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-Conn.) and the late Sen. John Chafee (R-R.I.), who was then the chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
