The Communications Institute is a consortium of academic and research institutions dedicated to providing the public with a "real" source of information on issues such as health care, economics, immigration, and energy.
TCI organizes conferences and educational forums centered around their main issues. They recently released a report entitled, "Energy Challenges: An Economic and Engineering Analysis" by Kevin Hopkins in which he describes why renewable energy is not a viable economic option and as such US energy policy should continue to concentrate on fossil fuels.
