The Harvard Center for Risk Analysis (HCRA) is an academic center operating as part of the Harvard University School of Public Health. Heavily financed by corporate interests, the Center was founded in 1989 to "promote reasoned public responses to health, safety, and environmental hazards by taking a broader view."

HCRA's stated goal is to help direct limited public health dollars to where they can do the most good. HCRA engages in various types of risk analysis, including cost effectiveness, risk assessment, and value information analysis. The Center conducts research in the areas of motor vehicle safety, medical technology, environmental health, food and agriculture, and children's health. On the issue of global warming, HCRA's Environmental Science Research Program is conducting a project on "Global Climate Change and Stratospheric-Ozone Depletion." The project evaluates "alternative policies to respond to potential global threats of climate change. The central theme of the work is to examine how decision analysis can be used to improve policy."
