Vice President, Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change.

K. Idso is the son of Center for the Study of CO2 and Global Change's President , Sherwood Idso, and the brother of its Chairman, Craig Idso.

Im January of 1998, Keith and brother Craig did a study funded by the Western Fuels Association. Western Fuels Association is the suspected funder of the Center, but there is nothing more than circumstantial evidence. In 1999, Keith Idso was appointed to the Arizona Advisory Council on Environmental Education "which ensures that state funds will only be given to support environmental education programs in Arizona's K-12 public schools that offer balanced viewpoints on environmental issues based on current peer-reviewed scientific literature."Keith Idso, then a doctoral candidate at the University of Arizona, was a paid expert witness for Western Fuels Association at a 1995 Minnesota Public Utilities commission hearing in St. Paul, along with MIT's Richard Lindzen, Patrick Michaels, and Robert Balling. BS in Agriculture with a major in Plant Sciences from the University of Arizona.

Key Quotes

((Add the skeptic's most revealing anti-climate change quotes to this section))

November 3rd, 2003

"[W]arming has been shown to positively impact human health, while atmospheric CO2 enrichment has been shown to enhance the health-promoting properties of the food we eat, as well as stimulate the production of more of it. In addition, elevated levels of atmospheric CO2 have been shown to increase the amounts and effectiveness of disease-fighting substances found in plants that protect against various forms of cancer, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases." October 6th, 1999

"These proven positive consequences of elevated CO2 are infinitely more important than the unsubstantiated predictions of apocalypse that are hypothesized to result from global warming, which itself, may not be occurring from rising atmospheric CO2 levels. The aerial fertilization effect of atmospheric CO2 enrichment is the only aspect of global environmental change about which we can be certain; and to restrict CO2 emissions is to assuredly deny the biosphere the many benefits that accrue from this phenomenon." Co-wrote a report entitled "Enhanced or Impaired? Human Health in a CO2-Enriched Warmer World" with father Sherwood and brother Keith. The report argues that global warming and increased CO2 is beneficial to humans. Source:"Enhanced or Impaired? Human Health in a CO2-Enriched Warmer World" 11/03
